![]() Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883–November 8, 1970) Napoleon Hill was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. Napoleon Hill was born into poverty in 1883 in a small one-room cabin in Virginia. He began his writing career as a journalist for a small town newspaper and worked his way through law school. He became a respected attorney and a best-selling motivational writer. Many thousands credit Napoleon Hill's book Think and Grow Rich as the beginning foundation of their financial and personal success. Hill passed away in November 1970 after a long and successful career writing, teaching, and lecturing about the principles of success. His work stands as a monument to individual achievement and is a cornerstone of modern motivation. |
